Featured Spring Wedding: Madison & Matt

Madison and Matt chose to celebrate their micro wedding in Whistler because it provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate with a handful of their closest friends and family in a beautiful location where they could all relax and spend quality time together.

For Madison (a designer and stylist) floral and décor played an important role in the overall feel of the day. Together we designed a look that was distinctly romantic and allowed Madison to incorporate her collection of vintage brass lanterns and candle sticks into the day. The wedding flowers were inspired by Victorian still life paintings and followed a muted monochromatic palette that focused on soft billowing blooms and velvety textures.

On the day of the wedding an opaque mist blanketed the Valley providing a beautiful atmospheric backdrop for a Whistler wedding that complimented the floral and décor perfectly! With their guests standing around them, Madison and Matt read their vows in a highly personal ceremony in a secluded cabin on Alta Lake.

The Reception was held in the cozy private Lakeside Dining Room at Nita Lake Lodge.

The table setting was created in collaboration with Brilliant Events, using a combination of opulent floral centrepieces, heavy fabrics and brass accents.
